Flying Fox XXL in Leogang

Experience the ultimate XXL adrenaline kick with a top class flying adventure: one of the longest and fastest steel cable slides in the world. The adventure is called „Flying Fox XXL“, and allows the daring to whoosh down to the valley with 130km/h, like superman. From the Stöcklalm, you slide 1,6 kilometres over the valley and enjoy a fantastic view of the breathtaking mountain world of Leogang at an altitude of 143 metres. The ride feels like a weightless open-air flight, similar to hang-gliding – but much, much faster. Loud cries of joy, goose bumps and lots of adrenaline are included.

Aside the ski slopes

In Leogang and Saalfelden numerous groomed winter hiking paths and deeply snowed-in valleys await you for long winter walks and snow hiking tours. Cover up under warm blankets during a romantic ride with a horse carriage, for example, through the idyllic Schwarzleo Valley in Leogang. Gliding through snowfields and forests, you can discover the breathtaking winter-wonderland around the Asitz. Breathe in the clear mountain air in the marvellous surroundings of Leogang, enjoy the sun and visit a traditional mountain cottage. Another special experience that will make your skiing holiday unique, are the moonshine horse carriage rides in the evening.

If you can walk, you also can walk using snow-shoes. No wonder that this sporty walking is becoming more and more of a trend. During beginner's tours throughout the ski resort Leogang Saalbach-Hinterglemm everyone can try out hiking on big feet. Guided snow-shoe tours lead through winter wonderland on silent feet. The Kitzbühel Alps, high above the holiday village of Leogang, offer the ideal terrain – and many interesting destinations.
